A young Pakistani Youtuber is making the headlines with his ambitious plan to bring his province Balochistan to the forefront of tourism in Pakistan and attract tourists abroad.
Balochistan is a very blessed province naturally. Be it the natural-cum-wealthy resources or the beauty of the geography, the region is always on top. The province, however, is neglected in many aspects, yet the population of the province loves it the most. Even though the locals are being deprived of the resources, they never complain, as nature supports the residents living the best life with the mountains, seas, farms, and other charming areas.
Hailing from Quetta, Balochistan, Jazib Samuel has his heart set on one thing – promoting his province in a positive light. Irrespective of how negatively the media portrays it, Balochistan is the western, largest, and the most visually stunning province of Pakistan, whose beauty is frequently overshadowed by incidents and other negative activities.
To many, the vast expanse of Pakistan’s largest province, Balochistan, remains a mystery for reasons too many and too complex to be described summarily. He believes that his work will one day get recognition, and his province will become a tourist hotspot overcoming all difficulties. Being an advocate of Women’s empowerment, Jazib sets notable examples by collaborating with Women Vloggers of Balochistan to promote gender equality; one of his favorites is Anita Jalil Baloch from Gwadar, and the local audience always admires their work chemistry.
“Being negative only makes the journey more difficult, you may be given a cactus, but you don’t have to sit on it” (by Joyce Meyer), said Jazib when asked about how he deals with the negativity and backlash in his journey. Further, he adds, promoting interfaith harmony and showcasing a prosperous Balochistan from his lenses is the only inspiration that keeps him motivated to do better every day.
